Scheduling a Ride With Hitch

Scheduling a ride with Hitch is simple and easy. We provide two options for getting you on the road - our app and our website. Note: If you book directly through our website, you will still need to download our app to view important ride details and manage your reservation.


  1. Where to Book

You can book through our website, iOS app, or Android app.

  1. Enter Your Trip Details

Start by entering your origin and destination. For best results, use specific addresses rather than general city names like “Austin” or “Houston.” This helps us find the best possible route, ride, and price for you.

  1. Select Your Travel Date

Choose the date you’d like to ride.

  1. Choose Pickup Type

Select whether you want to: Meet your driver at a nearby location, or

Be picked up and dropped off at your door.

  1. Pick Your Ride Type

Choose the ride option that best fits your needs.

  1. Select a Departure Time

Find a time that works with your schedule.

  1. Confirm Your Booking

After you confirm, we’ll send you a ride receipt to your email.

  1. Driver Details

You’ll receive your driver’s information within a few hours of your scheduled departure time.


Please note that you must enter a payment method in the 'Payments' section of the app before booking a ride - even if you have a promotion that discounts the ride to $0.


How far in advance can I book?


You can book rides for the same day or up to 60 days in advance.
